The Lighthouse Rescue Mission is Boise Rescue Mission's center for services in Canyon County. The Lighthouse provides free meals, food boxes and referrals to other agencies to the community as well as emergency housing, clothing, and showers to men.  Click here for more information about Emergency Services at the Lighthouse.

The Lighthouse is also home to the New Life Program for men in Nampa, the Mission's twelve to eighteen month rehabilitation program. For more information about the New Life Program at the Lighthouse, you can download the structure, and the policies and procedures. If you or someone you know is interested in joining the New Life Program, click here to download an application. Return all applications to Lighthouse, Attn: Case Manager, 472 Caldwell Blvd., Nampa, ID 83651.

This Mission, formerly Holly Nursing Home, was purchased and remodeled in 1999 to serve the growing number of homeless and working poor in the western part of the Treasure Valley. Since its opening, the Lighthouse has steadily provided services to men, women, children and families.

Lighthouse MinistriesThe Lighthouse also provides 12 units (15 beds) of transitional housing for men. The three buildings were opened in 2007 next to the Lighthouse facility on Nampa-Caldwell Boulevard thanks to the generosity of several friends of the Mission. They provide New Life Program Graduates and Guests with the transition time needed to become independent, productive citizens of our community.

Some of the Lighthouse’s ongoing needs are:
Meat (especially ground beef and bacon)
Milk
Eggs
Cheese
Fresh fruit and vegetables
Flour
Sugar
Condiments
Canned and boxed goods
Hygiene products (razors, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant)
Men’s clothing (underwear, t-shirts, socks, etc.)
And, above all, your prayers.

We also need your volunteer time!  Click here to see a list of opportunities at the Lighthouse, and fill out a volunteer application to serve here!

If you’d like a tour of the Lighthouse, call 461-5030 to make an appointment.
