River of Life Rescue Mission

BOISE RESCUE MISSION MINISTRIES' RIVER OF LIFE

The River of Life Rescue Mission in downtown Boise is BRMMs’ center of services to the homeless men of Boise, as well as the home of the New Life Program for Men in Boise. The building was purchased from the City of Boise in early 2007, and has taken the place of the old Mission building on Front Street in offering shelter, meals, clothing and chapel services. The third floor of the River also is available as transitional housing to men who have completed the New Life Program or the Accountability Program.

In fall of 2007, construction was completed on a brand new kitchen at the River, which has enabled the staff there to serve almost 500 meals every day to those in need. The Mission is currently raising money towards adding more bathrooms and showers to the building, which will expand the capacity by 60 beds.

As we see the need for shelter in Boise rise with the growing population, we are so grateful to God for this beautiful, functional building, provided through the generosity of compassionate people in this valley.
