PREPARATION
GIVES GRADUATES A FOUNDATION FOR THEIR NEW LIVES IN CHRIST.
Computer Learning Center
- Classroom experience is required for all program participants.
- Students are assessed in the areas of Math, Memory Skills, Spelling, Vocabulary and Reading. They are placed in just the courses they need to improve in these areas.
- GED preparation assistance is available, and successful completion of High School or GED is required for program graduation.
- Computer Literacy, keyboarding courses, and practice are required, with individuals given an opportunity for advanced computer courses.
- Our Learning Center Coordinators are educated individuals, trained to assist and encourage independent thinking and career readiness.
Career Education
Before graduation each program participant attends several weeks of career readiness courses, which include:
- DVD presentations, software & games for individual reflection and assessments to help them understand themselves and make decisions for their future education and employment.
- One-on-one career coaching during the career readiness course period, during the job search, and up to a year after re-entering the workforce.
- Bible-based teaching integrates Scripture into every day life with practical applications.
- Resume writing and mock interviews for job search preparation.
- Assists students to take the skills they learned in the classroom and transfer them to workplace skills.
- Access to employers that understand and value sobriety and a victorious new life.
Career Assistance
Students can apply for extra assistance for school and workplace needs. They must be recommended by staff as having high integrity, a good work ethic, and a person who has taken their recovery seriously.
- Area schools have provided full ride scholarships to qualified participants. These scholarships total $75,000 per year in possible educational funds that the students are not required to repay!
- Tools and uniforms can be provided to assure success when starting a new job.
- Assistance with accessing agencies and resources in our area.
- Live in transition housing with random drug testing and accountability for a minimum of 6 months.

- Tutors in the classroom
