NEXT STEP TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

Next Stp Transitional Housing Transitional housing is offered to men and women who graduate from the New Life Program as a "Next Step" towards their independence and making new lives for themselves. The program fee of the transitional housing, $250 a month, gives the graduates an opportunity to accumulate savings, establish themselves in the working world, pay off any previous debts or fines and remain in the positive environment and fellowship of the Mission's facilities.

Transitional housing is available for six women and their children in Boise, and housing for men is available at the River of Life Rescue Mission in Boise. In Nampa, there are twelve units of transitional housing available to men adjacent to the Lighthouse Rescue Mission.

You can help graduates of the New Life Program get on their feet by making a transitional apartment into a home. With a few towels, rugs, pictures, and comforters, you can give a graduate a home that feels welcome and inviting, something they can be proud to take care of as they start their new lives! To adopt a transitional apartment, call Glenn Compton at 389-9840, ext. 25,or email him at Glennc@boiserm.org.
